Recipe: Delicious Home-Made ‘Wet Walnuts’ ice cream topping

Posted on May 20, 2020

I’ll admit it. I’m a huge lover of ice cream, especially if it’s a whopping “boat” of a banana split.

And like so many other folks I know, my favorite ingredient by far is a generous helping of “wet walnuts”!

My own home-made banana splits are my favorite because I can put all the wet walnuts I want on them, but there’s a problem…

Those dripping-wet little critters are expensive!

Well, now that ice cream season is here, I’ve been looking for a good recipe for making my own wet walnuts.

Ideally, it would be a concoction that tastes awesome, but is extremely easy to make.

And guess what? I found it…

Chef Kendra Nguyen has come up with the best ‘Wet Walnuts’ recipe ever, and you can see exactly how it’s made in the fantastic short video that’s posted below.

Note: As always, you can watch the video at full screen by clicking the “square” icon that will pop up in the lower-right corner of the video after it begins playing.

Pretty simple, right? Give it a try!
