One of the most common annoyances with overseas travel is having to use a voltage converter to plug your phone and laptop chargers plus various small appliances into a foreign electrical outlet.
You can easily purchase a voltage converter with two or three outlets on it, but if have several devices that need to be plugged in at the same time you’ll likely be out of luck unless you take along multiple converters.
And as you can imagine, that could end up being rather expensive!
Well, I have a very simple solution for you: Take along a small travel-size power strip.
Simply plug the power strip into the voltage converter and you’ll be able to power up to half a dozen devices all at the same time while using just a single voltage converter.
Pretty simple, right?
There are plenty of these small travel-size power strips to choose from, but my favorite by far is this little jewel from Anker.
In addition to three standard U.S. style electrical outlets, it also has three USB charging ports as well.
That means you’ll be able to charge your phone, your tablet and one other USB-charged device without having to “waste” any of the regular electrical outlets by plugging multiple chargers.
This awesome power strip’s compact size and ergonomic design make it easy to stash it away in most any piece of luggage, or even in a carry-on bag!
