Here’s a simple trick to prevent waffle cones from leaking melted ice cream!

Posted on July 2, 2019

If you’re like me you love the taste of ice cream on a hot summer day.

And if you’re really like me you prefer eating it out of a waffle cone.

But as you surely know, waffle cones have one serious problem…

Once the ice cream starts to melt it always leaks out through the small hole in the bottom of the cone!

Well, I’ve found the perfect solution to this messy problem…

Before you place the first scoop of ice cream in your waffle cone, simply drop a mini-marshmallow in there.

The marshmallow will plug the hole and prevent melted ice cream from leaking out onto your hand (or shirt, or car seat).

In addition to preventing your waffle cone from leaking, that gooey marshmallow will also make a tasty treat after the last bit of ice cream is gone!

Pretty “cool”, right?

Since we’re on the subject of ice cream, did you know you can make delicious home-made ice cream in just 5 minutes! Watch the short video below to see just how easy it is!

Note: As always, you can watch the video at full screen by clicking the “square” icon that will pop up in the lower-right corner of the video after it begins playing.
