It’s no secret that Amazon has one of the most liberal return policies in all of retail.
In most cases all you have to do is initiate the return in Amazon’s “Your Orders” section, print off a mailing label and then take the package to the shipping company’s nearest drop-off location.
But thanks to a new partnership between Amazon and the Kohl’s department store chain, you now have an even easier option for handling your Amazon returns!
Instead of packing up the item you want to return and shipping it directly back to Amazon, you can now return it to your nearest Kohl’s store.
What’s more, you won’t even need the original shipping box it came in!
Simply initiate the return on Amazon’s website and select the nearest Kohl’s store from the list, then print the QR code they send to your email address.
Take both the item and the printed QR code to the nearest Kohl’s store and they’ll handle the logistics of returning the item to Amazon on your behalf.
Best of all, the service is absolutely free. In fact, you won’t even have to pay the return shipping charges!
This is an amazing deal, especially if there’s a Kohl’s store that’s pretty close to where you live.
Although most Amazon purchases qualify for this new return option, there are a few that don’t (most notably items purchased from a third-party company through Amazon).
Luckily, the items that aren’t covered are few and far between.
Bottom line: Amazon’s already awesome return policy is now even better. If there’s a Kohl’s near you they’ll handle your Amazon returns for you and not charge you a penny for the service!
By the way, if you shop at Amazon but don’t use Amazon Prime, you’re really missing out! Here’s a short video that explains why…
