Like most folks these days, your family probably receives a regular stream of package deliveries that are left on your front porch by the delivery drivers.
If you happen to be at home when a package arrives you can quickly retrieve it from the porch, removing it from view of the street.
But if you can’t be there for some reason that package will likely sit on your front porch flashing a virtual neon “steal me” sign to any porch pirates that happen to working your neighborhood.
As a product reviewer I receive packages from Amazon and other vendors just about every day (often more than one) and porch piracy is always a huge concern.
I work from home so I’m usually able to quickly retrieve most packages as soon as they’re delivered, but there are rare occasions when I can’t.
Luckily, I’ve found a simple solution for preventing the porch pirates from ever seeing my deliveries – and it should work for you as well!
The awesome Step2 Express Package Delivery Box will hold and conceal your delivered packages so they can’t be seen from the street.
To someone driving past your house it looks like a decorative piece of furniture, but inside is a spacious compartment that can store (and conceal) several average-size packages.
When a delivery driver walks up onto your porch he/she will see the word DELIVERIES on the side of the delivery box, letting him/her know to place the package inside instead of just leaving it sitting in plain view on the porch.
Of course this won’t prevent a “snooper” from finding your packages, but the vast majority of porch pirates aren’t snoopers.
They’re simply crooks on the lookout for a fast and easy steal. They don’t go around snooping on porches hoping to find an unattended package.
They drive up and down the street looking for any packages they can see from inside their vehicles. If they see one, they pull over and run onto the porch and grab it!
In a nutshell, any packages that are concealed within your delivery box are much less likely to get stolen than packages that are left out in plain view on your porch.
And as a bonus, packages left inside your delivery box will be protected from the weather. That’s a pretty valuable perk all by itself!
If you prefer a delivery box you can lock, you can always opt for the Step2 Deluxe Package Delivery Box instead.
